![]() Everything worked fine until i tried to update this driver. I have just recently replaced the mother board, the power supply and the CPU (don't ask). after the install it wants the system to do a restart, yet when its shutting down is when the BSOD comes on, so i am not sure if its completing its process. I've started over again, and again and again. In the troubleshooter, you will see a Hardware Acceleration heading with a Hardware Acceleration Drag it all the way to the left, towards None. Go to Troubleshoot, and when inside, click Change Settings. Go to Change Display Settings and click Advanced Settings. I've tried googling it, and from what I've read, there doesn't seem to be a lot of answers to fix it! Press the Windows key and type Display, then open the Display. So far the computer is running normally, and there doesn't seem to be any problem, but as soon as i shut it down, this blue screen with error message comes on. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, uninstalling and reinstalling in safe mode, tried starting up at last known good configuration, and tried doing a system restore to the day before. I ended up getting a blue screen error "Thread Stuck In Device Driver (stop code 0X000000EA)". So I went to their website (ATI), followed their instructions to uninstall the old and put in the new driver. I installed software that told me I needed to update my graphic card driver.
